Say Cheese!

Hey Everyone! Sorry, we have not posted anything for so long! We don't have a camera right now, so we are borrow pictures from others who will take our picture for us. Here are some that we collected from this past summer! This is outside of Missoula, Montana when we were visiting family. Zowee is 2 1/2 here.

Goodbye Dear Friends

This past year, God blessed us with incredible friends as neighbors. Their daughter, Sierra, was a joy to have around and a great friend to Zowee. Here they are pretending to take a nap (with drumsticks!). We will miss them dearly. Thank you, Sierra, for all the fun times!

Zowee's loves

Zowee loves trains and her Daddy! She got to go to a restaurant inside a train! Other trains went by us during dinner and it really felt like you were on a moving train. She's going to miss not living by the tracks and having trains go by constantly. We, however, will not.

In May we finished up our last semester at New Tribes Bible Institute! This is our graduating class. Can you find us???

This Spring we took a few trips down to the Lake Front in Milwaukee. It was refreshing to get away from things as we finished up school and prepared to move! Zowee really liked the sand, but the water was really cold.

Thank you Lord, for Zowee!

It's pictures like this that actually capture a little bit of Zowee's personality and help us remember that having a two year old is actually pretty cool ! We have to say thank you to God for Zowee and all the things He has taught us in the past two years. Her name means "life" and she really has brought that to our lives. But without the abundant spiritual life that we have in Christ, we can honestly say that we wouldn't have made it. In two years have moved from Bolivia to Montana to Wisconsin and now in a few months we will move to Missouri. We have given up the "American Dream" and many other opportunities that came our way. The past two years have been spent at a small Bible Institute that has no recognition by the world and is not high class living, but is a place where the Word of God is taught clearly. None of these things that we have done have been for personal or financial gain, but because God and the message of salvation through Jesus Christ are WORTH it. We are in training to be missionaries overseas and so the adventures and moves will continue, but God will continue to be our stability as a family and our reason for living. God has been so faithful to provide for our every need including the strength to keep raising Zowee and loving her. We have learned that we cannot do this on our own but that He is the one who can. It is an awesome privelege to know and walk with Him and we hope that you can say the same for your life today.

Don't worry guys, I'll grow into it

Zowee had a great time today doing her first soccer lesson with Kevin. She didn't want to get out of her jersey at the end of the day either. We have to say that we are pretty proud of her and think she'll follow in the footsteps of many amazing Tambo soccer players! (Tasha, you are her hero!)

Hot tub anyone?

Zowee and Sierra had a blast decorating the tub together and just being silly!

When can I go out and play???

It's been very cold here with temperatures usually around 0 degrees give or take a few! Zowee has had to learn inside activities like finger painting, riding bikes in the halls, and watching Dora the Explorer of course! Her Grandma Carol made this super cute dress!!

When can I go out and play???

It's definitely been a challenge to be stuck inside these past few months, so we have just had to learn about inside activities for two year olds. The weather has been extremely cold, generally around 0 degrees give or take a few. Zowee's excitement comes from watching trains and cars go by, doing art projects like fingerpainting or coloring, playing with friends, reading books, or watching Dora the Explorer. This is a cute little dress that Grandma Carol made!!! Thank you Carol!
